Just finished my last wedding of 2019 🥳 what a hoot! Going to take a wee break now from socials untill 2020 to recharge my creative flow. See you then 😘
Unsure if Piopio is sick of me yet 🙈 but I'm back again tomorrow for another amazing wedding! 🥳♥️ I love how closely I have got to work with some awesome local vendors. So many gorgeous creative people in such a small place!
Today I get to go back and visit one of my beautiful couple's and meet their precious wee girl Olive. Can't wait!
Poppy has been my wee mate for the past nearly six years. Having the absolute pleasure of photographing her every year since being a newborn. Watching her personality develop has been the best thing, but I am also always guaranteed a laugh, and well I reckon that's pretty special too ⭐
Sent this wedding off today and I'm so excited for them to see it all. I wish I could be a fly on the wall to watch the unpacking experience of my parcels. Anyway! A very fun wedding, thanks again for having me Me + Mrs Joll @hritson @samjjoll 💕

Then the biggest and best thing I did this weekend was capture the wedding of Mr + Mrs Reynolds 💍what a day!!
Yesterday I was fortunate enough to meet loads of cool families with a fundraiser I did for The Cottage which is a community owned childcare centre in my hometown of Te Kuiti. This wee girl had the coolest vibe and a gorgeous family. I also went to school with her mum 🥰 so mostly the day for me was catching up with old friends seeing how their whanau had grown. An absolute treat! Sorry to my afternoon families who got postponed because of the storm and thankyou to everyone else who persevered through the rain. Such a cool day!
I loveeeee how real and beautiful this image is. Screaming brand new babe and a sass five year old. This is the reality of getting traditional family photos. But this is cooler I reckon. It's all shiny, the sun is doing her thang, dad's been in the door from work for about two minutes and they still look great. This perfectly depicts the season of their lives. And that's what it's all about right?
Heading back here for a very full weekend of camera fun. Love Piopio weddings and all the local vendors! A real hot spot for weddings this year.
This is the most amazing cake I've ever seen! Made by the bride @reasons_to_make_cakes the father of the bride hand drew on the cake these motifs from their day. The wood base is from the groom's family land. He and his father constructed it into a cake stand. I love the story behind this cake, not only was it delicious, but so many hands crafted this. Right down to the gum nuts to bring in the brides Australian heritage. ALSO! look at the tight rings on that wood it must be seriously old. So beautiful ❤️

More of this amazing day 💕 one of my gorgeous flower friends told me these sea side daisies are in fact called Gazania or African Daisy. Anyway, highly underrated wee seaside weed.
From the first time I met these two I could tell they were the best of friends. And when they finally got to see eachother on their wedding day you could feel how much they had missed eachother. And that's all the validation I need to know they are the real deal. That and trying to pry them off eachother was impossible!
How cute are these two! Quick engagement session at the beach last night in that notorious West Coast wind. Look at it all over Lorrae's face 😂 so good! Feb 2020 wedding just around the corner 🥳
On Sunday I was fortunate enough to be flown to Queenstown for a wedding shoot with a gorgeous couple out here from Japan. It poured with rain which I kept in the image because I feel like this would really taken them back to the day, so look closely! It was also really cold, fun but cold ⛄ I hope this is a wonderful memory they have for the rest of their lives 🏔️

Sitting at the airport in Wellington thinking about yesterday's dreamy @crabfarm wedding of @nerk92 + @joelwoodham. Now off to Wanaka for an engagement shoot with @sachilily who has brought her fiancé all the way from Japan. Hoping for some more stunning mountains like the Kaweka's, seen here for Nerissa and Joel's engagement shoot. Never ever would of dreamed of the places this 'job' has taken me. What an absolute privilege to get to do what I do 🥳
When you take photos on a popular beach, this happens more often than you think. How gorgeous is this dog though?! He was welcome. Not as welcome as the newest member of their crew who arrived this week though! Three kids is heart filling sort of material ♥️ good work muma @georgecoyote
It was Samuel who first introduced me to this spot. It's not a secret spot by any means but it still feels a bit special. So when Samuel and Heather got married this was obviously 'the spot' we had to go. It's a bit of an adventure to get here - but the best places are right? Mr + Mrs Joll - Hawkes Bay is home ☀️
